Your information, in plain language.

What we collect

This website only collects what you type into our forms.

• Waitlist: your email address and, if you choose, how you describe yourself (for example, Deaf or an educator).
• Contact form: your name, email address, the subject you pick and your message.

With each submission we also record the page you sent it from, the time, and your browser type, so we can spot spam and fix problems.

What we don't do

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, we don't run third-party analytics on this site, and we never sell or rent your information. Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your details to anyone else.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, to let you know when early access opens, and to understand who Squirl can help. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored on Google Cloud. Google may process that data outside Canada, including in the United States. Only the Squirl Signs team can access it.

The Squirl app and your signing

Sign recognition in the Squirl app reads the movement of your hands, face and body. We don't keep video of your signing. If you choose to share a recording to help improve the model, we ask first, and we only keep what you agreed to.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and contact submissions for as long as we need them to respond and keep you updated, and we delete them sooner if you ask.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email contact@squirlsigns.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
